Chief's FSD-4100 Under-Cabinet Swing-Down Mount provides unmatched flexibility for installing Small Flat Panel Displays in residential applications. The mount attaches displays to the underside of cabinets or furniture, and allows displays to be rotated and easily folded up and hidden in multiple directions. What is the maximum size display I can use with the FSD? A. The maximum weight of the display must not exceed 18 lbs. Q. How do I know if my display will fit under my cabinet? A. Measure the total depth of the cabinet and then subtract 3/4". This will give you the maximum outside height dimension of the display (For a 12" deep cabinet a maximum display height of 11 1/4" is compatible). You may need to add up to 3/4" extra space for displays with control buttons on the top side of the housing. Q. What does it mean to be VESA® compliant? A. VESA® is a Flat Panel Monitor Physical Mounting Interface (FPMPMI™) Standard. Manufacturers include this hole pattern on the back of their displays for mounting purposes. A VESA® hole pattern can be one of two sizes: 75mm x 75mm or 100mm x 100mm. Chief’s FSD-4100 fits VESA® compliant displays. Chief also designs interface brackets for non-VESA® compliant displays. If your display is not VESA® compliant, a separate FSB interface bracket must be ordered. Q. What if my display is not VESA® compliant? A. If your hole pattern does not reflect either of these standards, please contact Customer Service at 020.8908.3111 to determine if Chief has a model to fit your display.
